Adrien  Brandeis




 

Adrien Brandeis is a french jazz pianist and composer (Annecy, 1992) graduated from the conservatory of Paris.

 In 2017, he produced and released his first album in quintet "Euforia", which had great recognition and international success. "Euforia" put Adrien Brandeis, in the spotlight of the Jazz scene, and led him to be awarded the prestigious Letter One Rising Stars Jazz Award 2018. 

 Attached to Latin music, he went to Cuba to perfect his knowledge and enriched his piano playing.

 In 2020, he wrote his second album "Meetings", in quartet. It allows him to move towards a more modern and fresh sound.

This album was selected by TSF Jazz Radio as Top 10 Best jazz albums in France.

 In October 2022, he released in quartet "Siempre más allá" recorded in Mexico. It represents Adrien's personal tribute to Mexico. Inspired by the country for its creation, it features original Latin jazz compositions.

In November 2022,  he was awarded the UNAC (National Union of Authors and Composers of France) Grand Prize for New Jazz Talent 2022.

 "Siempre más allá" presents a colorful and finely nuanced jazz, which allows the pianist to stage a display of his contrasting musical influences: jazz, classical music, Latin music, consolidating his own style and creating his musical signature.

 At 30 years old, Adrien Brandeis has already presented his music in the biggest European jazz festivals (A to Jazz Festival, Jazz a Toulon,Nice Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz, Leopolis Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Heineken Jazzaldia Festival, Kongsberg Jazz Festival, JazzOpen Stuttgart), in Asia (Jazzmandu - Nepal, Kolkata International Jazz Festival - India), and in North America (Mexico : Zacatecas Jazz Festival, Polanco Jazz Festival, Irapuato Jazz Festival, Festival de Música de Morelia; USA : San Jose Jazz Festival).
